Faith's Journey - A Life Saved 

Faith joined the ZLT family when she was 3 years old. She was severely abused, malnourished, and locked indoors for the first years of her life at the hands of a relative. Faith's case was shared with the ZLT social worker and immediately our team came to action. Bringing Faith home was not a simple task. The guardian caring for her initially refused her transfer to our care - stating that her injuries were due to "falling down the stairs". Thankfully neighbours shared different stories, which led her case to our social work team, and within 48 hours of meeting her - into our home.
