Open Position — Social Media Intern

Join the ZLT team as our Social Media Intern in 2018! There are 3 voluntary positions from high school / university students passionate about providing orphaned children with the opportunity to succeed (and want to improve their social media marketing skills!)
Applications begin January 15th, 2018 - February 15th, 2018. 3 positions available.
Work alongside the ZLT team and enhance your social media marketing skills, learn about general website upkeep and design, online fundraising, and most importantly - give the gift of hope to the children of ZLT!
Qualifications
Experience using Instagram

Open Position — In Country Children's Coordinator
Our In-Country Children's Coordinator is a paid position perfect for an individual with experience in volunteering and working within the orphan care / advocacy community. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working with vulnerable members of the community, has experience organizing games and activities for children, can assist with tutoring and after school activities, and can work alongside a team of (amazing) women without conflict.
We're looking for an individual who embraces new cultures, is willing to learn, takes initiative, and wants to develop a long lasting relationship with the ZLT family!
Timeframe: 3 months - 1 year
Visa will be paid at the expense of the organization, Flights and in-country expenses will not be covered.
Disclosure: The In-Country Children's Coordinator position is a live-in position and requires 5 days of work within the home each week. Though there is opportunity to explore and experience Kenya on weekends, the position was designed for an individual with dedication to their job within our home rather than using the opportunity to spend time outside of ZLT.

All volunteers are highly appreciated within the ZLT family. In North America we require volunteers for advocacy / campaign promotion, door to door and public campaigning, school presentations, video editing and creation, photography, and event planning.
