Church pew Segmented bowl by alex henderson

This segmented bowl is made from an oak pew that was given to our woodturning guild by St. Stephen’s on-the-Hill. There are 39 pieces of wood that are glued together and turned on the lathe. The textured rim is made with a Dremel tool and painted. The exterior is finished with General Bowl Finish and the interior is finished with food safe mixture of linseed oil and bees wax. To clean it wipe it with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
